Major Categories of Bras

In terms of shape there is the “banded bra” which is a short bra, and the “long-line bra” that extends to the waist and even over the stomach.

By mixing different combinations of the shaping performance, functionality, cup shape, design, and fabric of the bra, the bra will yield a variety of performances. There are also bras with or without under wiring, with or without a shoulder strap, and even types with removable shoulder straps.

In addition there are bras for certain purposes or uses, such as sports bras, junior (training) bras or maternity bras.
